Relocation
From first thought to fully settled
No fixed programme, no packaged number of days. It starts with a discovery call — a trial stay or a permanent move — and from there we arrange the residence, the paperwork, the staff and the specialists around your timeline.
How it works
It starts with one call
Some households are settled in weeks, others take a year around schools, a sale or an investment visa. Wherever possible we have everything arranged before you land — and everything specialist is handled by vetted people we brief and supervise on your behalf.
Track one
The trial stay
A few months to live it before you commit.
Step one
The discovery call
We establish what a few months here needs to look like — where you want to wake up, whether family or staff travel with you, and what has to be in place before you land.
Step two
Short-stay brief
Two or three neighbourhoods matched to how you actually live, realistic monthly costs, and the entry route for the length of stay you have in mind.
Before you arrive
Furnished residence arranged
A furnished residence secured on a short lease, utilities and internet live, a driver briefed and a housekeeper introduced — arranged through vetted local specialists before arrival.
Arrival
Landing
Airport collection, SIM cards, private health cover, gym and clinic introductions, and a manager on WhatsApp for anything that comes up.
Ongoing
The stay, run for you
Household, driver and calendar managed month to month, with nothing tying you down beyond it.
If you stay
Rolling into the move
If the trial turns into a life here, we pick up the permanent track — visa, long lease or purchase, schools — without starting over.
Track two
The move
A permanent life here, family and household included.
Step one
The discovery call
One conversation to understand the move in full — family, schooling, staff, capital and the residence you have in mind. Everything after this is built around that answer.
Step two
Your brief
A written brief on neighbourhoods, realistic monthly costs, visa routes and school options for your situation — so the decision is made on facts, not forum posts.
Optional
Look-and-see visit
If you have never been here, we host you: properties matched to your brief, school visits, a bank meeting and dinner in the barrio you are considering. If you already know Medellín, we skip it.
Before you arrive
Arranged in advance
Wherever possible everything is in place before you land — immigration counsel engaged, lease or purchase negotiated, utilities and internet contracted, staff shortlisted. We coordinate the specialists; they do the filing and the signing.
Arrival
Landing
Airport collection, a home that is furnished and stocked, cédula appointment, SIM cards, health cover, staff introduced and a driver on standby.
Ongoing
Steady state
Your manager runs the staff schedule, renewals, maintenance and the household calendar, with a monthly written report and one point of contact.

Immigration
The visa route, chosen correctly
Filed with Colombian immigration counsel, not copied from a blog. We assess which category fits your income, investment and family — then manage every renewal.
Migrante (M) — Rentista
For stable passive or pension income. Typically three-year validity and a path to residency.
Migrante (M) — Inversionista
Real estate or company investment above the statutory threshold. The most common route for buyers.
Visitante (V) — Digital Nomad
Up to two years for remote employees and freelancers with foreign income.
Resident (R)
After the qualifying period on an M visa. We track the clock and file before it lapses.
Questions we always get
Straight answers
How long does the whole thing take?
There is no fixed programme length. Some households are settled in a few weeks because they already know the city and only need a residence and staff; others take the better part of a year around school terms, a sale abroad or an investment visa. The discovery call sets the pace.
Do you do everything yourselves?
We arrange everything. The specialist work — immigration counsel, brokers, notaries, accountants, contractors, medical — is done by vetted third parties we have worked with for years. We brief them, supervise them, chase them and report back to you, so you deal with one person instead of fifteen.
Do you only work with people moving permanently?
No. A three-month trial stay is a perfectly good place to start, and many of our long-term households began exactly that way. We simply do not do weekend visits.
Are you a real estate agency?
No. We brief and supervise independent brokers on your behalf, sit with you through viewings and negotiate in Spanish at the local price.
Do you employ our staff?
No — we are not an employment agency. We find, vet and introduce the right people, and we manage them day to day. The employment relationship sits with you, and we bring in vetted Colombian accountants and labour lawyers to handle contracts, social security and payroll properly.
What if we already live in Medellín?
Most of our recurring clients started here alone and handed over the household after eighteen frustrating months. We take over from wherever you are.
